Dr. Tracy Ford has a Bachelor’s in Microbiology and a Master’s in Business Administration, but it wasn’t until the Lord changed her heart of stone to a heart of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26), that she began to read Scripture, the Great Books, and most anything else. Earning a Master’s at seminary (RTS), taught her to love scripture, analyze context, and comprehend the power of language. Further study yielded a Master’s and Ph.D. in English Literature. In his introduction to The Book of Job, G.K. Chesterton writes: “The riddles of God are more satisfying than the solutions of man.” Ever since the Lord called her out of darkness to Himself, she has been contemplating, studying, and teaching on the riddles of God. Gaining a glimpse of that which is infinite and eternal continues to propel her, not as an expert, but as a lifelong learner.

Since coming to ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ, Dr. Ford’s love of teaching has continued to grow. Any opportunity to teach literature, the Old and New Testament and philosophy is pure joy and privilege—to the glory of God and the good of ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ’s students.

Outside of the classroom, Dr. Ford has worked as a film producer, a marketing manager, a director of development, and a compiler for a study Bible. She loves all things adventure, preferring to be outside whenever possible, but also loves to watch movies and read books.

She joined ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ’s faculty in 2012 and counts it as a pure privilege to teach, minister, and journey through life with our students. As the Dean of Worldview Studies, she is thankful for the opportunity to equip and encourage students intellectually and spiritually to see God’s riddles as the eternal allowing the finite to partake in glimpses of His glory— compelled by Christ, for His glory and the good of His people.
